If you know how to read you would see that Jennifer Biser is the Propery manager employed by Clagett management. Commented By: Guest (12 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
Just checking in to catch up and saw on the other site that Jennifer is a new manager. I thought she was voted off the Board. What's going on? Commented By: Guest (13 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
The other site for the HOA does not work. Commented By: Guest (55 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
What's wrong with using this site to answer questions? Why are we paying for a site when one has been donated free? Sounds dumb to me-- or rather, just another stupid way for you to spend other people's money. Commented By: Guest (70 - days ago), Page: WELCOME

Whoops! I did miss the election of the new board of directors in the minutes for the October Meeting. My confusion seems to be that rumor has it that the people we put in office at that meeting were somehow taken off and replaced. Who is running this association???? Certainly not the homeowners. I received the letter informing us our association dues were raised even though the homeowners voted not to have them raised at the Oct. 2009 meeting. This vote was not printed in the minutes. Why? Why did the Board of Directors raise our dues? If the budget cannot be met, then, you need to stop spending money recklessly. (Trees, entrance plants, flags, more trees for side of Christopher's Crossing, another planting at the other end of Christopher's Crossing, trimming trees, lawyer fees, security, this unused web site). These were all in BD of Directors minutes. In other words if you can not add and subtract as you go along through the year, you should not be on the board.
By the Way, what happened to the election of the NEW BOARD. It was not reported in the minutes either. OR did I miss THAT!
Homeowners need to start asking questions!! Commented By: Guest (72 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
I understand a closed door meeting was held by the Board of Directors in November 2009. Why was this meeting called and by who? It seems to me that everyone in this Homeowner's Association should be entitled to free flow of information. It is "our" Association. Am I the only one who feels that closed door meetings are trying to hide things?
Is this the first ever "closed" door meeting? Commented By: Guest (73 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
At the Oct. 2009 Homeowners' Meeting a vote was taken not to spend money on the entrance. This is not reflected in the minutes. Two weeks later, plants were put in anyway even though it was pointed out that in 2 to 3 years major roadwork was going to be done on this area of Christopher's Crossing and that the city owns this land.
I understand this was contracted out to a national company that further contracted out to a firm in PA to do drawings that were rejected by the city at a cost of $3200. The Web site of the GREEN LINKS Co. hired, says design is free so why were we charged? The plants cost another $4,000. Was that for one side? Did the middle and the other side cost additional thousands? The size of the plants appear to be quart size and we definitely should have gotten 2 or 3 gallon size, considering the outlandish price paid.
Why was motion not to proceed omitted from the minutes? Why and who proceeded with project that was voted against? What was the total cost including price of drawing and other permits? Why are we allowing such tiny little plants when maximum price was paid? Why wasn't local companies considered? Certainly, they would have provided a more reasonable estimate than working with a national co. and one out of state. Commented By: Guest (74 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
Why don't people clean up after their dogs? I have 2 and we ALWAYS clean up. Maybe the board should reconsider putting in trash cans at the parks...it's getting disgusting and trashy. Commented By: Guest (254 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
somebody is breaking off keys ( left at postal boxes ) in residents mail boxes.
The post office makes you pay about $30.00 to get a lock replaced and the guy only does this on a Saturday; so you can lose a week's worth of mail ( credit card fee of $25 for a late payment ); plus you have to drive downtown to the main post office to pay the fee and get your keys. The post office doesn't really care if you don't get your mail or the boxes are vandalized. The police rarely patrol. Commented By: Guest (256 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
Christmas tree thrown in back yard for 4 months after Christmas; then a Christmas tree miracuously appears in median of Opposumtown Pike for city/county to pick up. But at least a tree is fairly silent. Commented By: Guest (256 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
The homeowners association needs to do something about the constant tresspassing from townhouses through to the single family houses and back. This land is not "common ground" but is paid for by real estate taxes to the single family homes concerned.
The homeowners also need to remind residents that their kids should not be tresspassing or disturbing other residents from 10 PM through to 6 Am.
If your kid is on somebody else's property at midnight; then you need to be arrested for contributing to the delinquency of minors! Commented By: Guest (256 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
The mexican kid next door gets to bang on a kitchen sink thrown in their side yard all Saturday; however if I make some noice in response - I get a helicopter buzzing my house at attic level in response. I'm tired of this liberal diversity welcome the immigrants crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Commented By: Guest (256 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
Letters don't seem to be enough. We have properties in the community that have clearly violated not only the NCHOA guidelines, but Frederick zoning and permit laws. Above ground pools? How are these permitted. It's like the Clampetts have moved in. Commented By: Guest (256 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
Over 60 letters were sent this month to correct defects and the Board will be making monthly inspections for follow up and new defects. We do not know who to reply to, since they commented as "Guest". Commented By: Mike Foster (Guest) (257 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
The real question is when will the board start to work? It seems there are so many eyesores in thei community and nothing ever is accomplished. I have been living in this commuity for 8 years and the it is the same old crap. HOA is suppose to enforce rules and regulations set byt the board. I dont see it. WHEN IS MY HOA going to do their job? Commented By: Guest (283 - days ago), Page: WELCOME
